I started my art career at University of Johannesburg South Africa. Midway through my Fine Arts degree, my family moved to the US and I finished my studies at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan. After 4 years in Fine Art, I switched my Major to pursue CGI Art after seeing how cool it was.

My career led me into the advertising industry doing modelling, lighting, storyboarding and animation of products both for stills and animations. I then gained experience in the Automotive industry learning to track and light CG cars into backplates for both still and moving images. My work kept expanding and I began concepting ideas and creating assets and environments for full advertisements.

I wanted to push myself, so I moved to London and worked at DNEG in the VFX industry for 1.5 years as a TD Modelling artist. Here I was responsible for modelling, texturing and animating hero characters and props for films including Justice League, Black Panther, Mission Impossible 6, Venom and Fantastic Beasts 2. I gained fantastic experience in tight deadlines, production environment, quality control, improvisation, problem solving and overall technical skills.

I missed my family back in the the US and the London lifestyle was a little too busy for me, so I came back to Michigan, Detroit and ended up back in the automotive industry. This time storyboarding and leading creative projects from start to finish, truly honing my generalist skills. I gained valuable experience in story ideation, creative concepting, storytelling, presentation, management, animatics, texturing, lighting, environment buildouts and compositing.

I am happiest with creative tasks and enjoy making visuals with impact.

Outside of work you can find me paddle boarding, snowboarding, sewing, renovating my house and at the karate Dojo.

Software Proficiency: Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Nuke, Unreal Engine, After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, PF Track, Mari, 3DS Max (basic), Marvelous Designer, Isotropix Clarisse, HDRI Studio.
